Position: Full-Time Operations and Digital Banking Specialist

Location: Lake Elmo Office

Type: Regular Full Time Hourly (eligible for overtime)

Hours:  8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday

Primary Objective of the Position:

The Operations and Digital Banking Specialist will provide exceptional customer service and support our Digital Banking and Operation products and services. Ideal candidates will have previous office administrative support experience, an aptitude for technology and technical troubleshooting abilities and the ability to provide professional, prompt, and accurate service. This position has a great variety of work for an individual who can work as a team player with a positive attitude, ability to multi-task and is comfortable in a changing environment. 

Responsibilities:

The Operations and Digital Banking Specialist will primarily provide customer service and administrative support of the Digital Banking and Operations products and services.    This includes but is not limited to:

  • Printing the daily instant issuance debit cards and distributing them per the instructions provided by the employee who created the card. This includes communicating to supervisor of when supplies need to be printed or ordered.
  • Support digital banking products, including Online and Mobile Banking, Bill Payment, e-Statements, Credit and Debit Cards, Remote and Mobile Deposit. This includes taking calls from customers and answering online conversations.
  • Process customers credit card payments.
  • Scanning and indexing of digital banking documents to include applications, daily maintenance, and daily reports.
  • Verification of wires
  • Cash monitoring and review for High-Risk Customers.
  • Assist in the investigation and review of suspicious transactions including follow up monitoring.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, meet deadlines, and work in a fast paced environment.
  • An aptitude for technology and technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access.
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills.
  • Enjoy working in a group environment.
  • Detail oriented with high level of accuracy.
  • Demonstrate initiative and resourcefulness.
  • Familiarity with general banking regulations.

Position: Full Time Customer Service Representative, On Site Only-Lake Elmo, MN (No remote work available)

Hours:    8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday; Rotating Saturdays 8:45 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least one year of customer service related experience required. 
Primary Objective of the Position:
The vast majority of Bank customers hold deposit and loan accounts.  Deposits represent our primary source of funds.  We continually face strong competition for deposit and loan accounts both from other banks and from non-bank investment firms.  In order to retain and grow our customer base, we strive to provide personal service second to none.

The Customer Service Representative is an essential link in outstanding service to customers.  This individual works with Bank customers, primarily by telephone, to respond to inquiries, execute transactions, and resolve problems.

Responsibilities
  • Handles customer inquiries and executes requested transactions effectively and efficiently, while consistently portraying an image of friendliness, courtesy, and professionalism.
  • Fully understands and consistently follows applicable policies and procedures in executing transactions and responding to inquiries; involves co-workers when appropriate.
  • Fully understands all traditional and electronic Bank products, effectively explains products to customers, problem solves with all products and makes appropriate referrals to co-works when necessary.
  • Works effectively with customers who dispute Bank policies, to maintain goodwill, while also adhering to policies and ensuring profitable relationships.
  • Works with customers seeking to close accounts or change account type; where possible, works to retain the customer; where necessary, handles closing of the account.
  • As a member of the Retail Banking Group, actively identifies customer needs and preferences and communicates observations to group.
